Day 4 – 30 Days of Blogging
By JC Kiadii, Internet Marketing for Mortgage Professionals
I’m ashamed to say that it has been a while since I actively participated in Active Rain. While meeting with my accountability partner, I made a goal to jump start my blogging. The initial plan was to blog twice a week. That didn’t work. So, I went one further and committed to 30 days of blogging.
I intend to get online and write a blog post each and every day. Will this be my best writing? Probably not. I will, however, try my best to blog about topics I think will interest or benefit the Active Rain community.
What I am doing:
- Using these tips to speed up my blogging.
- Logging onto Active Rain to blog every day.
What I am not doing:
- Limiting myself to a list of topics.
While I will keep my targeted keywords in mind, I don’t want to complicate the process by having a fixed set of topics. I’ll just blog about whatever strikes my fancy on that day. - Stock-piling blog posts.
I am not posting a ton of articles in draft mode, because one of the reasons I’m doing this exercise is sharpen my writing saw by writing every single day. The other reason is to speed up my writing. While I can come up with inspired posts, I am the slowest writer in the history of earth.
There are a few exceptions – I will save a couple of draft posts just in case I don’t have the time to log onto AR when I am scheduled to teach an all-day class through my Atlanta-based computer training business.
Won’t you join me?
I think this will be more fun if I can get a group involved. If you are interested in joining the process, please leave me a comment. If I get enough interest, I’ll check with the powers that be at AR to see if we can make a challenge out of this to earn extra points.
